•Role summary •Ozone API is seeking an experienced API Architect to join our dynamic team. •The Principal Architect will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of open banking and open finance APIs around the world. •The position will report to the CTO with a dotted line reporting into the Head of Standards. •It will involve some travel for on-site client engagements in regions such as MENA, APAC, North America, and LATAM. •The successful candidate will leverage their extensive API technology expertise to contribute to the creation of world-class API standards and infrastructure. •Interested in? •Share options in a scaling business already achieving aggressive growth. •Being recognised internally and externally as a subject matter expert on global standards. •An influential role in the future success and growth of our company. •Competitive salary with performance-based bonuses. •Remote/hybrid working, with flexible, modern working methods, hours, and work-life balance.

Requirements

•Minimum of 10 years in API technologies. •Proven track record in developing standards and specifications in open banking and open finance. •In-depth understanding of RESTful APIs and related standards such as JSON and OAS3. •In-depth understanding of JWT and related standards •Familiarity with ISO messaging standards in both payment and insurance sectors. •Excellent working knowledge of typescript, javascript and MongoDB. •Ability to work with CI/CD pipelines, bash, docker and k8s. •Excellent oral and written English communication skills. •Strong stakeholder management skills for effective collaboration. •Detailed understanding of both payment and insurance sectors. •Willingness to travel for on-site client engagements in various regions.
