Description

• Maintain shared cloud resources for engineering teams within the business unit • Enable software engineering teams to build cloud-native applications while adhering to security and regulatory requirements • Migrate on-premise applications to the cloud • Improve internal processes, quality, security, and performance of infrastructure • Collaborate with other teams and departments • Adhere to best practices and develop expertise in Infrastructure as Code, monitoring, high availability, disaster recovery, security, and DevOps methodologies • Continuously learn and recommend new tools and practices • Mentor peers and provide timely assistance and remediation solutions during critical situations and production incidents • Document and share lessons learned from production and improve communication between Site Reliability Engineers and other teams

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on engineering experience with Windows and Linux Servers, VMware, Azure, Consul, Vault, Salt, Ansible, Terraform, F5, IIS, NGINX, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, New Relic, Sensu, SolarWinds, Nagios, Azure App Insights, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, Concourse, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, SumoLogic, and Splunk • Proficiency in one or more programming and scripting languages like C#, JavaScript, Python, Go, PowerShell, and BASH • Experience with CI/CD tools and command line tools • Ability to identify areas for improvement and increase deployment frequency • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Familiarity with capacity planning, load/stress testing, and SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs
