Description

• Packback is looking for a Full Stack Engineer (Front End) to support our mission to awaken and fuel the lifelong curiosity in every student. • Building features that empower students and professors to have a better learning experience. • You’ll be collaborating with our product team to design and implement new features, tackling bugs and tech debt, and incrementally improving our infrastructure and CI/CD pipeline. • Ensuring clear expectations for professional growth and offering an annual learning and development stipend.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software engineering experience with web-based products. • Experience in working in an agile environment, mentoring junior engineers, and implementing process improvements. • Experience overseeing a project from start to finish and making sure it is successful. • High proficiency with frontend web frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) and TypeScript or Javascript. • Knowledge of accessibility best practices is a HUGE plus. • Familiarity with software best practices (automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, peer code review, documentation, accessibility). • Familiarity with Laravel, Docker, and Kubernetes is great. • Comfort with Linux/UNIX systems. • Startup or small company experience.
