• The Director of Operations or Integrator is the main driver for operational effectiveness and efficiency within the organization. • They are responsible for aligning the company's vision and goals with the actual strategies and tactics the company employs. • They act as a buffer between the co-founders and the rest of the team when it comes to tactical decision-making. • The Integrator is able to look at the company's goals and align them with strategic planning, KPIs, and tactical assignments. • They are responsible for building out the operational team and maintaining accountability to achieve the target KPIs and goals set forth by the company. • On a day-to-day basis, the Integrator is the ultimate problem solver for any roadblocks that may arise for the wider team. • If an issue is unable to be solved at any management layer, then the Integrator will take decisive action to ensure the team is able to continue operating at its highest ability. • In order to do this, the Integrator must have intimate knowledge of the company's goals, operational capabilities, and a clear understanding of how each team works together to create company success.
• Proven experience as a Director of Operations or in a similar senior leadership role, preferably in the retail or ecommerce industry. • In-depth knowledge of ecommerce operations, logistics, supply chain management, and order fulfillment. • Extensive experience in managing and optimizing ecommerce operations. • Ability to prioritize initiatives within a commercial lens to achieve the best outcome for the targets. • Systems-oriented. Can zoom out and dissect a department into processes that can be repeated at scale. • Can focus on the big picture and build a department to achieve it. • Strong experience in Amazon FBA and/or e-commerce. • Solid understanding of financial metrics and necessary levers to pull to achieve goals. • Solid understanding of supply chain processes. Strong digital marketing experience. • Management experience working with a remote team across various time zones. • Ability to motivate, manage, and inspire our workforce. • Strong project management experience. • Proficient in Google Sheets and Excel. • Works well with others in a team environment while also able to work independently. • Ability to handle multiple projects and thrive in a very dynamic environment. • Strategic mindset, integrity, and drive. • Experience working and communicating with executive leadership and external partners. • Approaches life with the attitude that there are no problems, only solutions. • Excellent proficiency in English (both spoken and written). • Ability to plan and execute strategies independently that align with the organization’s goals and objectives. Proficiency in Asana, Slack, Excel, Google, Office, Loom.
