Description

• Oversee and manage all financial operations within the Iberia region. • Prepare and review financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local accounting standards. • Manage budgeting, forecasting, procurement and financial planning processes. • Monitor financial performance, analyse variances, and provide recommendations for improvement. • Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. • Evaluate ROI of Marketing investments and manage expenses control. • Engage with stakeholders and internal clients aiming cost avoidance and synergies. • Standardize reports and procedures with other regions. • Establish new process in Brazil aligned with regulation requirements. • Interact with Payments Providers to align new processes and solutions in the regulated market. • Management of local accounting and tax firms to ensure compliance and a streamlined process. • Relationship with Finance Institutions to find best solutions for bank accounts and investments. • Intermediate the conversations between internal global team and local stakeholders to satisfy both needs. • Migrate all contracts for the new legal entity ensuring compliance and tax efficiency. • Stay up-to-date with local regulations and accounting standards in both Iberia and Brazil. • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, including tax, audit, and reporting requirements. • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy. • Prepare and submit regulatory filings and reports as required. • Contribute to the development of financial strategies to support business growth and profitability. • Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions. • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. • Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role, preferably in newly established companies. • At least 8 years of experience in finance, accounting or related, with proven experience leading teams. • Fluent in English and Spanish. • Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, regulatory compliance and Brazilian tax rules. • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
