• About Cortex • Cortex is the enterprise Internal Developer Portal built to accelerate the path to engineering excellence. • We’re fully remote and welcome candidates from anywhere in the US! • The Team at Cortex consists of ~100 passionate individuals excited about building a product that developers love. • We recently raised $60M in Series C Funding to build the future of developer experience. • Job Summary: We are seeking a Staff Frontend Engineer to join our team. • You will be responsible for designing and building high-performing, complex front-end features as well as improving our codebase. • You'll have the opportunity to flex beyond the typical scope of a Frontend Engineer by improving our engineering processes, partnering closely with product teams and providing leadership to other engineers.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience • 10+ years of professional experience in frontend engineering, with a focus on building modern and intuitive user interfaces • Strong proficiency in modern frontend technologies such as React, TailwindCSS, and experience with complex single-page applications • Understanding of fundamental design principles around responsive and user-friendly applications • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Ability to mentor and coach engineering team members • Previous experience at a hypergrowth startup is a plus
