Description

•We are seeking a dedicated Accountant / Senior Accountant to join our Polish accounting team. In this role, you will be maintaining the accounting of our Polish entity within the group accounting system (Netsuite), while overseeing day-to-day transactions. •Post and manage bills & invoices, ensuring that all entries are recorded promptly and correctly in our financial system Netsuite. •Handle VAT reconciliations, verify and submit JPK_V7 files to tax authorities and address any related queries during tax audit. •Oversee bank payments and manage bank statement reconciliations. •Maintain the fixed assets register, post additions and disposals, run depreciation in the system, and prepare documentation for stock-takes. •Manage expense reports, ensuring they are processed in line with company policies. •Participate in month-close procedures, including balance sheet reconciliations and P&L analysis, contributing timely and accurate close. •Prepare standard GUS reports, ensuring compliance with local regulations and deadlines. •Accurately calculate CIT on an annual basis. •Prepare annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations. •Support the annual audit process by preparing necessary documentation and providing detailed explanations.

Requirements

•At least 3 years of experience working as an accountant (full accounting scope) •Up-to-date knowledge of accounting and core tax regulations (VAT/CIT) in Poland •English language at the level B1+ •Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team •Knowledge of US GAAP is a plus •Experience in salary calculations, tools is a plus
