β’ At Panoptyc, we're on a mission to revolutionize loss prevention. β’ Using visual AI and manual reviewers, we help retailers detect theft in over 15,000 markets across the United States. β’ You'll be responsible for researching and developing new systems and products using Typescript, Python and C#. β’ This role bridges technical implementation and strategic vision, requiring you to not only write excellent code but also understand the "why" behind our products. β’ You'll collaborate with a small and tight-knit RnD team.
β’ At least 2-3 years of experience working as a Software Engineer β’ Strong preference for individuals who have a broad range of software project (personal and professional) experience β’ Someone with an understanding of multiple modern languages is preferred β’ Strong understanding of various programming concepts and how they can be applied when building complex systems β’ It is preferred that you have hands-on experience with Angular with Typescript and C# and .Net Technologies β’ You understand the importance of well-documented code and are happy to hear that half of this job will be writing tests and documentation β’ Excellent command of the English Language (written & spoken) β’ Embrace ambiguity β when you don't know how to do something, you ask Google. β’ Low ego β if you don't know the answer, you ask questions.
