• Paralucent is a boutique technology project delivery and staffing company that has had tremendous success over the past 21 years. • Seeking a ServiceNow Developer to assist our client in the consulting services sector with future projects. • Responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and implementing solutions using the ServiceNow platform. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate them into efficient and scalable ServiceNow applications. • Participate in the full software development life cycle, including analysis, design, coding, testing, and promotion into production. • Ensure alignment with industry best practices and adherence to coding standards. • Maintain and enhance existing ServiceNow applications and develop technical documentation. • Integrate ServiceNow with other business systems and provide post-production support. • Actively participate in Agile development methodologies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on web development languages, specifically JavaScript and/or XML. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent relevant industry experience. • Strong understanding and experience with OOP development on SAAS applications. • Proficiency in working with relational databases. • Prior experience developing, designing, configuring, and rolling out new application modules, workflows, and catalog requests on the ServiceNow platform. • Experience running at least 4 development projects, demonstrating strong project management and delivery skills. • Hands-on experience deploying code into production environments and providing post-production support. • ServiceNow experience is required, including custom application development, configuring workflows, and integrating with other systems. • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working with onshore and offshore development models. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
