• We are looking for a DevOps Lead who can effectively guide and inspire a team of engineers to ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our infrastructure and CI/CD processes. • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills are essential, as this role requires close interaction with Architects, Developers, Product Owners, SREs, Security, and Infrastructure teams. • As a key technical leader, you will work alongside development teams to embed DevOps best practices throughout the software lifecycle, ensuring stability, automation, and continuous improvement. • Your mission will be to drive a culture of reliability by designing resilient systems, optimizing deployments, and fostering operational excellence. • Your responsibilities will include: Leading and mentoring a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning. • Working closely with development teams to design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for seamless and efficient software delivery. • Ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability of infrastructure through automation and proactive monitoring. • Analyzing architectural and development decisions to assess their impact on system reliability, guided by Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and error budgets. • Driving incident management practices, ensuring effective response, resolution, and blameless postmortems to prevent future occurrences. • Implementing and enforcing best practices in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), security, observability, and cloud governance. • Keeping documentation up to date for all systems and solutions within the team’s scope of responsibility. • Advocating for DevOps principles across the organization, influencing stakeholders and championing automation, standardization, and operational excellence.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with 5+ years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree in a similar field (a combination of experience and education will also be considered). • 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting cloud-based infrastructure and DevOps solutions. • Proven experience leading DevOps teams, mentoring engineers, and driving best practices. • Strong software development background with the ability to analyze and optimize existing code. • Experience with public (AWS, Azure, GCP) and private (Tanzu, Rancher, Openshift) cloud platforms and designing scalable, resilient architectures. • Deep knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, Spinnaker). • Experience with microservices architectures and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic, ELK Stack). • Strong networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, load balancers, and security best practices. • Expertise in incident management and troubleshooting to ensure system reliability and rapid response. • Excellent communication (English & Spanish) and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence technical decisions. • Ability to work in a distributed environment and coordinate across multiple time zones.
