• About Us • Parity is one of the world's most experienced teams developing core blockchain infrastructure at the protocol level, building the open-source technologies that will lay the foundation • With a remote-first, global team, Parity is building open-source technologies for developers and organisations to implement • Join our energetic and collaborative finance team of five, primarily based in the UK • We’re actively involved in nearly every business decision, assessing financial impact and driving initiatives that shape Parity’s success • We are seeking a recently qualified Financial Accountant to join our dynamic finance team, reporting directly to the Director/Head of Finance. • Your responsibilities will include managing month-end close processes, preparing financial statements, working closely with accounts payable and ensuring compliance with local and international regulations. • This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment with exposure to cutting-edge blockchain technology and global financial operations.

Requirements

• Exam-Qualified / Qualified, ACA certification • 2-4 years of experience in accounting, finance or related field • Proficiency in financial reporting, reconciliation, and audit preparation • Experience with FRS/IFRS accounting standards • Familiarity with blockchain technology or strong interest in learning about the crypto sector • Proficiency in excel and accounting software preferred • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team • Self-motivated, able to work towards deadlines
