• Job Title: Financial Analyst • Position Type: Full-Time, Remote • Working Hours: EST • About Pavago: Pavago is seeking an experienced Investment Banking Analyst with 2-3 years of experience in the real estate investment sector for a boutique investment banking firm. • The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, a proactive approach to project management, and an entrepreneurial mindset. • This role requires proficiency in Excel financial modelling, presentation development, and supporting end-to-end deal execution, with an emphasis on accuracy and clear client communication. • Key Responsibilities: • Financial Modeling: Develop, manage, and refine complex financial models in Excel, focusing on real estate investment fund performance, valuations, and forecasted returns. • Presentation Development: Create polished, data-driven presentations for client meetings, investor pitches, and internal decision-making. • Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth research and analysis of market trends, property valuations, and other data relevant to the real estate investment space. • Transaction Analysis & Valuation: Conduct in-depth financial analysis and valuation for potential transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and capital raises. • Deal Execution Support: Assist senior team members in the transaction process, including due diligence, financial analysis, and the preparation of key documents. • Data Management: Track and organize relevant data for deals, including maintaining detailed records of financial analyses, investment reports, and transaction documents. • Collaboration: Work closely with senior analysts, associates, and partners to ensure smooth project execution and alignment with client goals. • What Makes You a Perfect Fit: • Financial Acumen: Your confidence in financial analysis enables you to manage complex data and make sound recommendations. • Organizational Skills: You effectively track and manage client requests, ensuring timely responses and data accuracy. • Adaptability: Willingness to assist with additional tasks, contributing to the team’s overall success. • What Does a Typical Day Look Like?: Your day will involve conducting financial analysis, responding to client inquiries, and maintaining accurate records. • You’ll create reports and financial models, follow up with clients as needed, and collaborate with team members on various projects and recruiting tasks. • Interview Process: Initial Phone Call: A brief conversation to assess your experience and fit for the role. • Video Interview: Delve deeper into your professional background and assess your skills in a 30-minute call. • Final Interview: A discussion with the team to ensure alignment with Pavago’s business development goals. • Background Checks: Conduct swift verification of your references and past experiences. • Ready to Apply?: If you're passionate about providing exceptional financial insights and analysis while contributing to strategic decision-making, we want to hear from you!
Requirements
• Proven experience in financial analysis, preferably in investment banking • Strong ability to analyze complex financial data, with a keen eye for detail. • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders. • Proficient in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint for effective financial modelling. • Highly organized, with strong attention to accuracy in data management and reporting. • Able to work independently, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and meeting deadlines. • Willingness to support recruitment and administrative tasks, including managing job postings and screening applicants.
