📋 Description

• As a Staff Software Engineer on the Brokerage Engineering team at Paxos, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and secure crypto brokerage solutions. • You will work on mission-critical systems that power billions of dollars in trading volume, ensuring top-tier broker-dealers have access to the most reliable and efficient trading infrastructure. • In this role, you will bring deep technical expertise to architect and optimize complex distributed systems, make key technical decisions, and solve challenging engineering problems. • You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Growth, and other Engineering teams, to deliver innovative solutions that drive Paxos' market leadership in crypto brokerage. • If you thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact environment and are passionate about building world-class financial infrastructure, we’d love to hear from you.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience, with proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Golang (preferred), Kotlin, Java, Python. • Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and distributed system design. • Familiarity with cloud-native infrastructure and tools, such as Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, and AWS services. • Ability to write high-quality, maintainable, and well-documented code. • Strong problem-solving skills and a keen ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. • Effective collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams. • Experience building Compliance solutions (KYC, KYB, KYT) or onboarding or identity platforms is a huge plus. • A passion for learning and applying new technologies to solve real-world problems.
