• PCG Consulting Group is a premier minority-owned consulting firm based in Chicago, IL. • We specialize in providing innovative and tailored solutions to our clients, helping them navigate complex business challenges. • The Senior Consultant will play a pivotal role in leading technical projects related to Sage and EDI configurations. • This position requires a blend of technical proficiency, leadership skills, and the ability to drive project success from inception to completion. • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing and implementing Sage and EDI solutions, assessing workflows, recommending solutions, and conducting training sessions for staff. • Lead Sage and EDI configuration projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery. • Assess client's current workflows and systems to identify opportunities for optimization and integration. • Design and recommend solutions that enhance operational efficiency and data accuracy. • Conduct comprehensive training sessions for clients’ staff, ensuring they are proficient in using and maintaining the new systems. • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations, and ensuring a high level of satisfaction. • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to align project objectives and business goals. • Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices in Sage and EDI configurations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. • A master's degree is a plus. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in leading technical projects with a focus on Sage and EDI configuration. • Demonstrated experience in assessing workflows, implementing solutions, and conducting training. • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. • Deep understanding of Sage software and EDI standards and protocols. • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and deliver customer-focused solutions. • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is desirable.
