Description

• Analyzing, designing, developing, and testing front-end components and applications for digital assessment providers. • Working on an agile engineering team, writing maintainable and scalable code for front-end components. • Implementing designs following coding standards and best practices. • Creating testable code and automated tests as part of new product development. • Collaborating with stakeholders to design and launch impactful software. • Using technology to solve front-end challenges and deliver high-quality code on schedule. • Clarifying technical requirements and assessing development estimates. • Reviewing code of team members and providing constructive direction. • Driving continuous improvement of front-end quality and products. • Guiding new team members and collaborating with others.

Requirements

• Extensive professional front-end development experience in an Agile environment. • Proven track record of experience with customer-facing Web Application design and development. • Well-rounded front-end engineering skills with experience in: • Frontend Technologies: Angular 13 + TypeScript, React + Redux + Material UI (MUI) + TypeScript, React Native, Electron. • Testing Tools: Chai + Mocha, Karma and Jasmine. • APIs and HTTP Clients: Axios. • Additional Technologies: Docker, Selenium, Sonar, CI/CD, and cross-platform development. • Database experience is a plus (MongoDB, SQL). • Experience with build tools (Yarn, npm, or similar). • Familiarity with AWS technologies for frontend applications. • High-quality standards; unit testing, code reviews, test automation tools, continuous integration & deployment, and a preference for agile methods. • Knowledge of front-end security best practices, including familiarity with OWASP. • Ability to work closely with the product team to finalize requirements and deliver them in an agile manner, with a focus on quality, observability, and maintainability. • Experience with non-functional requirements such as Responsive Web Design, Accessibility, Security, I18N, Performance, and/or Scalability / high availability / high traffic web services. • An innovative approach, critical thinking, and open-mindedness. • Strong business and technical vision. • Passion for education and learning. • Effective team player with strong self-awareness. • Experience working in a global matrix organization, communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to gather requirements, describe software product features, and deliver technical designs and documentation. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail. • A passion for staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends. • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse work environment. • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is desirable.
