Description

• Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and skill assessments to identify individualized goals and target behaviors. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including licensed therapists, psychologists, and educators, to develop comprehensive treatment plans. • Design and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to address challenging behaviors and promote skill acquisition. • Provide direct one-on-one therapy sessions to children with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and other related conditions. • Collect and analyze data on targeted behaviors and skill acquisition to monitor progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed. • Train and supervise behavior technicians and other staff members on effective implementation of behavior intervention plans. • Conduct parent training sessions to teach caregivers strategies for managing challenging behaviors and promoting skill development at home. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including session notes, progress reports, and behavior data. • Stay current with best practices and research in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and participate in professional development activities. • Uphold ethical standards and guidelines set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

Requirements

• Certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). • Bachelor's degree in psychology, behavior analysis, special education, or a related field; master's degree preferred. • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy with children, preferably in a clinical or school-based setting. • Strong understanding of behavior analytic principles, including functional behavior assessment (FBA), behavior intervention planning, and data analysis. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, families, and other stakeholders. • Demonstrated ability to design and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) that are evidence-based and tailored to the unique needs of each child. • Experience conducting parent training and providing support to families in implementing behavior management strategies. • Proficiency in using technology for data collection, analysis, and treatment planning. • Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining certification requirements.
