• Medical Coding Auditor - Outpatient responsible for auditing medical records and ensuring coding compliance • Review and audit medical records for accurate coding using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes • Ensure coding practices comply with regulations and guidelines • Detect discrepancies and coding errors and collaborate with coding staff for corrections • Provide education and training to coding staff on best practices • Prepare detailed audit reports for management review • Assist in developing and updating coding policies and procedures • Work closely with medical billing and clinical teams

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent GED required • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Medical Coding, or a related field preferred • Active certification is required (CPC or CCS preferred) • At least 36 months of direct experience in coding/auditing applicable services
