Description

• Ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance of medical coding practices • Audit medical records using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and payer-specific regulations • Identify and correct coding errors in medical documentation • Provide training to coding staff and prepare audit reports • Assist in developing coding policies

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent GED required • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Medical Coding, or a related field preferred • Active certification required; CPC and/or CCS preferred • At least three (3) years of direct experience in coding/auditing applicable services and medical chart review
