📋 Description
• Founded in 2018, Persona is a 250-person tech startup based in San Francisco. • Persona offers flexible building blocks that help businesses fight fraud, stay compliant, and build trust among their customers. • As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for building, operating and monitoring foundational components of the services. • You'll help empower the engineering organization to deliver product features rapidly, with high scalability and excellent resilience. • The infrastructure team operates remotely but commits to visiting the San Francisco HQ once a quarter to work together in person.
🎯 Requirements
• BA/BS in computer science, software engineering or equivalent experience • 5+ years of work experience as an infrastructure engineer working with cloud-based infrastructure, online data stores and infrastructure-as-code pipelines • Experience in cloud-based infrastructure, familiarity with modern networking concepts and experience managing infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code practices • Experience managing and scaling containerized software deployment systems such as Kubernetes • Experience in Software development in one or more of the general-purpose programming languages: Ruby, Go, Python, Java, etc • Experience in working in high-energy small startup environments • Knowledge of and expertise in software engineering best practices for software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations • Ability to communicate effectively with users, technical teams, and management • Strong problem-solving skills • The ability to work effectively within a fully remote engineering environment
