📋 Description

• Use project management skills to change the world for animals! • Seeking a driven Project Manager to join a team of PMs, designers, developers, and QA professionals. • Leading cross-functional teams to facilitate all phases of the project lifecycle. • Effectively communicating with the team and monitoring project progress. • Collaborating with teams to establish the technical vision for the project. • Eliciting requirements from stakeholders and using them to create clear requirements documentation. • Identifying risks, creating mitigation strategies, and executing them. • Drafting product testing instructions and conducting training related to features and operations of products. • Delivering excellent customer service to numerous stakeholders and requesting departments.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent work experience • 3 years of experience as a project manager or business analyst in a technical field • Knowledge of different types of project management methodologies and tools • Ability to understand the technical components of the projects being managed • Demonstrated ability to gather project requirements through a variety of elicitation techniques • Strong writing skills used to document requirements, draft project documents, and to communicate with teams day-to-day • Demonstrated ability to anticipate problems, identify opportunities, and take a proactive approach to project management • Excellent organizational skills, analytical skills, and attention to detail • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability to lead meetings and present to small audiences • Proven ability to exercise independent judgment • Exhibits a high level of emotional intelligence to build strong working relationships and manage difficult situations, such as competing priorities within the PMO • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks at one time and to prioritize daily tasks based on project requirements and business objectives • Commitment to the objectives of the organization • Project management certification preferred • Experience as a project manager for web-based and mobile app development • Experience as a web designer or quality assurance technician • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, Asana, WordPress, Salesforce, Google Analytics, or other similar platforms • Knowledge of internet trends, and development and design best practices, as well as a high degree of self-motivation to stay abreast of new technology, tools, and methodologies
