Description
• The Medical COE Associate provides primary operational support to various programs within Global Medical Operations, Governance and Community (GMOGC). • Responsibilities include assessing grant eligibility and compliance, facilitating grant reviews, and serving as point of contact for grantee organizations. • Coordinate with PCO colleagues and HQ colleagues for logistical support and compliance. • Verify accreditation and review grant requests for accuracy. • Manage financial transactional details and ensure clinical supply forecasts are up-to-date. • Partner with global team for process and business technology improvement projects as requested.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree (BA, BS) required with preference for a focus in science, healthcare, or related field. • Master’s degree in relevant field preferred (MA, MS). • Oral and written fluency in English and Italian • 3+ years operations experience in clinical trial management, educational grants, or healthcare industry (pharmaceuticals/life sciences/medical) for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree. • 1+ years experience for candidates with a Master’s degree. • Demonstrated effectiveness working in a multidisciplinary, matrix team situation, and proven ability to manage change and diversity. • Strong understanding of multiple disciplines (e.g., healthcare compliance/law, regulatory, drug supply, clinical and pre-clinical research, medical educational, publication development, project and budget management) • Ability to work independently (with limited supervision) and use own judgment to resolve moderately complex issues. • Knowledge of IT systems/software for database maintenance and document management. • Experience with various Pfizer processes/systems/functions: MAPP (FCPA), Ariba SAP reporting strongly preferred.
