Engineering Manager - DeFi, Crypto, Web3

Description
• Lead and manage a distributed team of cross-functional engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence • Establish and refine engineering processes to ensure high-quality product development and timely delivery • Collaborate with leadership and product management on roadmapping, technical planning, and prioritization • Oversee the architecture, design, and development of new features and products, ensuring alignment with strategic goals • Conduct regular 1:1s, provide actionable feedback, and support the professional growth of engineers • Drive the adoption of best practices in software development, testing, and deployment • Ensure comprehensive documentation of technical specifications, processes, and product features • Monitor and evaluate team performance, addressing any issues and facilitating continuous improvement • Hire and onboard new engineering talent, ensuring a strong and cohesive team dynamic
Requirements
• 3+ years of experience in engineering management, preferably within the startup or technology sectors • Strong technical background with a solid understanding of software development life cycles, agile methodologies, and blockchain technology • Proven ability to manage and scale engineering teams in a fast-paced environment • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills • Experience with DeFi protocols, blockchain technology, and the broader Web3 ecosystem is highly desirable • Ability to work effectively in a remote setting and adapt to a rapidly changing environment • Bonus: Experience founding a company or building side projects in the crypto/Web3 space • Bonus: Active participation in DeFi protocols and/or DAOs
