📋 Description
• The Senior Interconnection Engineer leads the interconnection process of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects at various development stages. • This role involves ensuring compliance for reactive power requirements, developing power flow models, and collaborating with various teams to ensure successful project execution.
🎯 Requirements
• 5 or more years’ experience in a similar role. • Technical background, including experience in transmission systems planning or generator interconnection process, and previous employment with a utility, an ISO, or a renewable energy company. • Knowledge of transmission systems and long-term transmission plans in US. • Understanding of Open Access Transmission Tariffs and Generator Interconnection Procedures and Study Methodologies for US ISO/RTO regions (PJM, NYISO, CAISO, MISO, WECC, SPP). • Proficiency in power flow software
