• PingWind is seeking a Salesforce Release Engineer to support our Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) Solutions Delivery Center of Excellence (COE) contract work. • The applicant will be responsible for implementing scalable solutions utilizing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) within the Agile development framework. • Responsibilities include overseeing and governing project release deliverables, preparing deployment assets, supporting the Digital Transformation Center (DTC), preparing release notes and deployment guides, coordinating release schedules and resources, identifying and managing risks, and capturing information for new features and enhancements. • The engineer will work with Salesforce, ServiceNow, Pega, Microsoft Power Platform, and more to enhance and sustain SaaS and PaaS solutions in support of VBA.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or other engineering or technical discipline is required, with 4 years of experience. • Experience working with Salesforce development and testing environments. • Intimate knowledge of source control principles and working in a Git environment. • Previous experience working in a government contract environment is highly desired. • Experience working with the Copado DevOps toolset in Salesforce. • Overall experience in System Design and SDLC lifecycle. • Previous release and/or project management experience. • Experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle including analysis, design, implementation, test, integration, and maintenance. • Experience managing releases for diverse environments with multiple applications and platform types. • Experience with change management process and procedures required for maintenance releases. • Familiarity with Salesforce development best practices. • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion. • Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with demonstrated experience.
