📋 Description
•The Project Manager - SDS is responsible for all aspects of project planning for assigned projects. •Ensure adequate project plans are built, performance is tracked to plan, and variances are highlighted. •Provide executive project status communications to internal executives and client stakeholders. •Partner with client and third-party project managers as necessary. •Maintain project mgmt. templates to support rapid project initiation. •Major Duties and Responsibilities Maintain project management templates to support IT, Operational, and New Program projects Develop comprehensive project plans for assigned projects – track completion of key milestones, action items, and progress toward key dates. Identify risks and their risk mitigation strategy. Identify issues and their contingency plan. Lead project status meetings and coordinate key project meetings Provide executive updates and communications regarding project status and health.
🎯 Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management of Information Systems, Systems Engineering or related area is required •Project management qualification (PMP, CSM, SAFE, JIRA, PRINCE2) or equivalent •Previous Contingent Labor MSP and VMS knowledge and experience strongly preferred •Prefer a minimum of 3-5 years previous experience in project management – experience in MSP & IT project mgmt. strongly preferred •Proficiency in Project Management software tools •Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team •Experience using Smartsheets preferred
