Description

• Provide comprehensive legal support and strategic guidance on all aspects of the company's Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings • Advise on legal issues related to the development, marketing, and sales of SaaS products • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) • Develop and maintain compliance programs and policies related to SaaS products • Manage and protect the company's intellectual property portfolio related to SaaS products • Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with SaaS products • Support sales and procurement teams with contract negotiations and deal structuring • Provide legal support on general corporate matters, including corporate governance and compliance • Assist with the development and implementation of company policies and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from an accredited institution • A Master’s degree in Law (LLM) or relevant certifications is preferred • Admission to the Bar Council of India • Minimum of 8+ years of legal experience, with significant experience in SaaS or software industry • Strong background in contract negotiation, data privacy, IP, and compliance • In-house legal experience at a technology company or experience at a law firm advising technology clients is preferred
