Description

• Plotly is a leading innovator in data visualization and analytics, specializing in empowering organizations to make data-driven decisions. • Seeking a skilled and experienced IT & DevOps Manager to oversee infrastructure and security practices. • Role requires strong background in SOC2 compliance, cloud cost management, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, customer support, and IT security.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. • 7+ years of experience in a DevOps, IT or similar role • 3+ years of experience managing an IT or DevOps team (3+ people). • Experience with security compliance and cloud security (SOC 2 Type 2 compliance preferred) • Experience with all three clouds: GCP, AWS and Azure. • Proficiency in cloud cost management and optimization strategies. • Hands-on experience managing clusters, containers (Kubernetes preferred). • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub actions). • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus. • Experience in managing cloud and IT security protocols. • Strong organizational and communication skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
