Description

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality iOS applications. • Collaborate closely with the existing development team to uplift and improve the performance of the current app. • Work on building, creating, and deploying component solutions and data services from requirements through to deployment. • Troubleshoot and resolve application bugs, performance issues, and ensure the overall reliability and functionality of the app. • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to understand requirements and provide technical solutions. • Stay updated on the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve the app. • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. • Understanding, communicating and upholding industry best practice standards of security and development. • Writing tests and implementing testing automation, leading to championing test driven development within the wider team. • Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests. • Contributing to code pipelines, automated continuous integration build environments. • Re-designing and re-factoring systems after creating sufficient test coverage. • Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications. • Implementation of security and data protection. • Aiding support in resolving defects or customers issues that support don’t have the technical skills to resolve. • Data Import and export functionality.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an iOS Developer (5+ years) with a strong portfolio of published apps. • Proficiency in Swift, Objective-C, and Xcode. • Deep understanding of iOS SDK, app lifecycle, memory management, and performance optimisation. • Experience with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services. • Familiarity with modern architectural patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVP). • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git. • Knowledge of Apple's design principles and interface guidelines. • Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with non-technical stakeholders. • Self-motivated, innovative, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. • An understanding of user authentication and authorisation between multiple systems, servers, and environments. • Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system. • Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git. • Knowledge of the use cases for document stores vs relational databases. • Familiarity with provisioning and publishing apps in iTunes/App Store, App Review Process.
