• About Polygon Labs • Polygon Labs is a software development company building and developing a network of aggregated blockchains via the AggLayer, secured by Ethereum. As public infrastructure, the AggLayer will bring together user bases and liquidity for any connected chain, and leverage Ethereum as a settlement layer. • We are seeking an experienced (technical) Chief of Staff to support and work alongside the CTO in their day-to-day activities. • The team member will serve as a thought partner to the entire engineering leadership team and proactively identify opportunities to add value. • A successful candidate will thrive in high-velocity, unstructured environments, collaborating with diverse teams and optimizing business processes to drive execution.
Requirements
• 6+ years of software engineering, technical product, technical program management, or (technical) Chief of Staff experience. • Understand the development lifecycle, release management and have dealt with the complexities of delivering world class solutions. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, building strong relationships with stakeholders and teams around the organization. • Experience operating autonomously and leading large-scale efforts across multiple teams and functions, with stakeholders in different disciplines across time zones. • Analytical and problem-solving experience with large-scale platforms, infrastructure and organizations. • Ability to think strategically and tackle open-ended problems with strong problem-solving skills. • Confidence leaning into change management to anticipate and play out issues before they arise. • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. • Ability to digest complex data and present findings in a clear manner that drives decision making and outcomes, influencing others to act. • Ability to go beyond the recommendation to execution. • Strong stakeholder and project management skills to effectively influence and manage expectations with senior management and cross-functional teams. • Hunger to learn new things and grow.
