Description

• Proficiency in spoken and written English at an advanced level is required for this role. • Develop and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Components, and Visualforce pages to meet evolving business needs. • Ensure robust integration of Salesforce with other systems and platforms, utilizing APIs and middleware tools to streamline operations and enhance data flow. • Maintain high standards of data management and security within Salesforce, applying best practices to safeguard information and enhance system performance. • Collaborate closely with business analysts and project managers to understand and deliver on business requirements while providing technical insights and solutions. • Participate actively in development cycles, including planning, coding, testing, and deployment, using agile methodologies to deliver high-quality software solutions. • Employ AI technologies to enhance and optimize business processes. • Utilize and leverage Power Digital's Nova ecosystem as it relates to your department.

Requirements

• Salesforce CRM Knowledge: Understanding the functionalities and capabilities of the Salesforce platform is essential. This includes knowledge of Commerce Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and other Salesforce products. • Programming Experience: Experience in programming languages such as Apex (Salesforce's proprietary language), JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is highly valuable. Apex is particularly important as it is Salesforce's backend language. • Development of Lightning Components (Preferred): Knowing how to develop and work with Lightning Components, which are user interface elements on the Salesforce Lightning platform. • Visualforce Pages (Preferred): Although used less frequently due to Lightning, knowledge of Visualforce is still useful, as many organizations still have Visualforce pages in use. • Database and SOQL Knowledge (Preferred): Understanding database concepts and being able to use Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL) to retrieve data from the Salesforce database. • Data Management and Security (Preferred): Understanding how to manage data within Salesforce and how to apply security and privacy settings. • Integrations: Knowing how to integrate Salesforce with other applications and services, which may include the use of APIs and middleware tools. • Experienced with Figma and/or Zeplin (Preferred). • Experienced in upholding established development processes (e.g. code reviews, style guides, pattern libraries) • Experienced and proficient in source control (gitlab / Github).
