• The Site Acquisition Project Coordinator is accountable for streamlining the site acquisition process for construction or development projects, guaranteeing the efficient acquisition of all necessary permits, contracts, and approvals. • The position necessitates collaboration with internal teams, contractors, and local authorities to proficiently manage site acquisition timelines and budgets. • Assist the site acquisition team in monitoring project milestones and deliverables. • Assist in preparing and maintaining project schedules and status reports. • Coordinate site visits and inspections with relevant stakeholders. • Develop and implement strategies to optimize the site acquisition process. • Collect, review, and process required documentation, including leases, permits, and environmental reports. • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to site acquisition. • Maintain a comprehensive database of all project-related documents and correspondence. • Assist in the preparation and submission of zoning and permitting applications. • Act as a liaison between clients, landlords, legal teams, and government agencies. • Address inquiries and provide updates on project progress. • Facilitate meetings and conference calls with internal and external stakeholders. • Develop and maintain positive relationships with key decision-makers in local communities. • Maintain accurate records of project activities in project management systems. • Track and report on project budgets and expenditures. • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement. • Generate regular reports on project status, risks, and key performance indicators. • Identify potential obstacles in the site acquisition process and work with the team to resolve them promptly. • Ensure all contracts and agreements are executed correctly to minimize risks. • Conduct preliminary site assessments to identify potential environmental or regulatory issues. • Develop contingency plans for high-risk aspects of the site acquisition process. • Coordinate with external vendors and consultants, such as surveyors, environmental specialists, and legal advisors. • Manage vendor contracts and ensure deliverables meet quality standards and project requirements. • Evaluate vendor performance and provide feedback to improve future collaborations. • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in site acquisition. • Propose and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. • Participate in professional development opportunities to expand knowledge and skills relevant to the role.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience). • 7+ years of experience in site acquisition, real estate, or project coordination is preferred. • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, including written and verbal skills. • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet) and Microsoft Office Suite. • Familiarity with zoning and permitting processes is a plus. • Knowledge of real estate terminology and contract language. • Experience with GIS mapping software and land use analysis tools is beneficial. • Understanding of environmental regulations and impact assessments related to site development. • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, site plans, and surveys. • Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations governing land use and development.
