Description

• Seeking a Director, Media Strategy to support corporate clients with storytelling, media, and leadership. • Joining Praytell’s Media Team focused on various industries. • Positioning clients in key media and industry conversations. • Developing corporate narratives and ensuring media coverage. • Driving innovative media strategies in collaboration with the account team. • Leading thought leadership programs for executives. • Providing strategic input on campaign strategies. • Building relationships with business media. • Managing media relations for corporate clients. • Collaborating on media lists, press releases, and documents. • Mentoring junior staff in media relations strategy. • Staying informed on industry trends. • Developing industry perspectives and sharing insights. • Joining client calls as a media trends expert. • Providing media training for spokespeople. • Participating in new business initiatives with some travel.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in public relations, preferably in an agency environment, with expertise in corporate storytelling, business media, and thought leadership. • Developed and executed media strategies for clients across various industries including food and beverage, technology, and consumer lifestyle. • Participated in new business pitches and are comfortable communicating with senior-level clients. • Established strong relationships with business media and continuously build new connections across multiple media channels. • Experience in mentoring and developing junior staff.
