β€’ We are seeking a NOC Engineer (Network Operations Center Engineer) responsible for maintaining a stable and secure IT environment for our clients while addressing potential issues before they escalate. β€’ This role focuses on ensuring optimal network performance and performing routine maintenance of network devices. β€’ The candidate must value best practices, anticipate potential outcomes, and effectively manage high-pressure client situations while delivering exceptional customer service. β€’ Leverage scripting and automation tools to streamline processes and reduce time spent on issues. β€’ Develop and implement automation solutions to reduce failure rates and minimize the level of engineer involvement needed to resolve tickets. β€’ Create tools that enable engineers to solve issues faster and more efficiently. β€’ Implement self-service solutions for clients to address common issues independently. β€’ Develop proforma for each automation initiative to identify potential savings in hours or dollars, the time required to complete the work, and the expected return on investment (ROI). β€’ Maintain and secure a scripting repository. β€’ Create reports to show regular progress on automation initiatives. β€’ Write custom reports for the NOC and Service Desk using tools like Power BI and BrightGauge. β€’ Automate Windows, 3rd party, and Mac patching via tools like Kaseya VSA, Addigy, and Intune. β€’ Manage and update the RMM platform, Kaseya, and the analytics platform, BrightGauge. β€’ Provide automated reports about patch status and endpoint compliance. β€’ Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions with existing systems and processes. β€’ Maintain documentation of automation scripts, tools, and procedures. β€’ Provide technical support and guidance to clients and team members regarding automation solutions and best practices.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ Proven experience in developing and implementing automation solutions using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or similar. β€’ Strong understanding of automation principles and tools. β€’ Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving automation-related issues. β€’ Experience with creating and maintaining performance baselines on servers and network devices. β€’ Basic understanding of networking principles. β€’ Intermediate experience with virtualization technologies and storage hardware. β€’ Basic experience with Azure and AWS cloud environments. β€’ Intermediate knowledge of Azure compute, network, and storage. β€’ Some scripting knowledge is preferred. β€’ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. β€’ Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. β€’ Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or similar are a plus.
