Description
• Build and maintain core platform components, services, internal APIs, and systems that serve Printify engineering staff • Solve technical problems of high scope and complexity • Help identify areas of improvement in the codebase and help contribute to making it better • Participate in pair programming, code refactoring and reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and testing • Develop skills by applying best practices and technologies • Contribute to the company’s engineering culture
Requirements
• At least 10 years of proven work experience in roles like Senior/Staff Engineer • Strong expertise in NodeJS/TypeScript • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes, Observability), beyond mere usage — proven ability to build and manage infrastructure • Solid understanding of object-oriented design and patterns • Knowledge of design principles and development practices • Excellent written & spoken communication skills in English • Previous experience working in a Platform team • Experience with continuous integration systems • Experience with building Infrastructure • Experience with PHP • The ideal candidate will not only be proficient in NodeJS and TypeScript but will also have a deep understanding of and hands-on experience with building and managing infrastructure on AWS and ideally also Kubernetes. They will be able to demonstrate advanced skills in these areas during the interview process, showing a track record of solving complex infrastructure challenges and implementing robust, scalable solutions.
