• Learn from the PrizePicks data science team on how we approach the most difficult sports modeling problems. • Contribute to model development, iteration, and data collection. • Research new initiatives and model unique approaches to problems in fantasy sports.
🎯 Requirements
• Demonstrable history of projects that are either sports-focused or are related to building novel approaches to machine learning. • Strong technical or math/statistics background. Computer science, statistics, math, physics, economics, etc. major. • Strong coding skills - Python, SQL. • Interest in sports and fantasy sports markets. • Experience with lower-level programming languages - Rust, Java, C++. • Demonstrable background/coursework building machine learning algorithms from scratch. • Success in open-source projects e.g. Big Data Bowl, Kaggle, school research labs.
