Description

• Manage and maintain Oracle databases across multiple environments. • Extensive experience as an Oracle Database Administrator working on large to very large databases and in 24*7 systems. • Sense of Database Architecture • Migrating databases across servers and platforms • Expertise in Performance tuning, Database tuning, troubleshooting and database upgrades or Shell Scripting. • Performs installations, upgrades and patching, backup and recovery, performance tuning, security, monitoring and configuration. • Monitors and ensures the day-to-day administration and maintenance of Oracle customer production databases, ensuring that the databases are available, performing properly and safe. • Good in Backup and Recovery skills. • Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle database technologies and best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA. • Strong knowledge of Oracle database concepts and architecture. • Experience in managing Multitenant architecture with CDB and PDB • Proficiency in Oracle 19c • Experience with performance tuning and optimization and patching • Must have worked into Big File Table spaces • Knowledge of any scripting - Shell, Python or Bash • Experience with backup and recovery operations. • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. • Golden Gate is an added advantage.
