📋 Description

• Chamber of Progress, a center-left tech industry association devoted to technology’s progressive future, is seeking a part time Litigation Counsel contractor to assist our Legal Advocacy Counsel in managing litigation projects. • This role will focus on potential litigation challenging state-level laws.

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. from an ABA Accredited law school. 5+ years post-law school legal experience • Experience with litigation through either a clerkship, legal public interest group, or law firm litigation role • Litigation management experience • Excellent judgment and discretion • Demonstrated experience or interest in legal issues impacting technology, and in First Amendment law. • Fast learner • Outstanding legal writing skills. • Membership in good standing of a State Bar, and ability to seek admission to the D.C. Bar. • Role is a part-time contractor role of 20 hours per week • Remote okay; must be located within the continental United States
