Description

• Manage financial integrity by updating and entering data into accounting software. • Generate reports to support financial decision-making. • Handle bookkeeping tasks: record transactions, reconcile accounts. • Ensure compliance with accounting principles. • Partner with accountant on tax compliance and audits. • Support financial audits with necessary documentation. • Prepare financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, supporting process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field • 5+ years of experience in an accounting role or commensurate with experience • Demonstrated understanding of G.A.A.P., financial statements, tax compliance, etc. • Working understanding of QuickBooks or related accounting software • Proficiency with bookkeeping tasks such as journal entries, reconciliations, chargebacks, financial statement preparation, etc. • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Google Suite skills • Strong analytical, quantitative, attention to detail and organizational skills • Developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels including CFO • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
