📋 Description

• ProSidian Seeks a Environmental Equity Air-Quality Engineer (EJE5) (Engagement Team | Program Manager - Exempt 874-1 Consultant). • Review and analyze environmental assessment documents and policies from federal, state, and local agencies to identify impacts on environmental justice communities related to infrastructure projects. • Conduct comprehensive assessments of air quality, air pollution, air permitting, and air emissions in the context of FERC-regulated energy projects. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure environmental justice considerations are integrated into FERC processes and decision-making. • Provide technical expertise and guidance on air quality regulations, standards, and compliance requirements. • Develop detailed reports and presentations summarizing findings and conclusions related to the geographic scope of environmental justice impacts.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong knowledge and understanding of air quality regulations, air pollution control technologies, and air permitting processes. • Proficiency in conducting air emissions modeling and assessments. • Familiarity with environmental justice principles, concepts, and their integration into regulatory processes. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex environmental issues. • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical information to diverse audiences. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. • Proficiency in using software tools for data analysis, such as MATLAB, R, or Python, is a plus. • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Atmospheric Science, or a related field is required. • Master's degree or higher in Air Quality Management, Environmental Science, or a relevant discipline is preferred. • U.S. Citizenship Required - You must be a United States Citizen. • Excellent oral and written communication skills (This employer participates in the e-Verify program). • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe).
