Description

β€’ The Staff Engineer is responsible for developing cross-platform mobile, desktop, and web applications that enable the manufacturing, setup, management, and monitoring of lower-limb microprocessor-controlled prosthetic devices. β€’ This role is pivotal in advancing the commercialization of our next-generation prosthetic devices, including feet, ankles, knees, and legs. β€’ Collaborating extensively with the PROTEOR engineering and operations teams, the engineer will also provide continuous engineering support for existing prosthetic products.

Requirements

β€’ Strong ethics, communication skills, leadership, ambition, and drive. β€’ Strong proficiency with C#, Microsoft .NET Framework, XAML, and .NET MAUI. β€’ Demonstrated experience with C, C++, or Objective-C. β€’ Demonstrated experience developing complex mobile and/or desktop apps. β€’ Strong proficiency in asynchronous and multithreaded programming. β€’ Experience with ASP.NET Core, SQL Server, Entity Framework, REST APIs, HTML-5, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Swagger is highly desired. β€’ Experience with Azure services such as DevOps/Pipelines, SQL Database, Cosmos DB, Blob Storage, App Center, and Notification Hubs is highly desired. β€’ Proficiency with languages such as Python and PowerShell is highly desired. β€’ Experience with wireless technologies, IoT, medical devices, or embedded systems is desired. β€’ UI/UX design experience is desired. β€’ Knowledge of product development life cycle including planning, hazard analysis, requirements analysis, detailed design, development, verification and validation testing in a process-driven environment is desired. β€’ Structured problem-solving skills and failure analysis experience is desired.
