• Follow up on insurance denials and aged claims • Submit claims to secondary payers • Ensure accurate billing information is submitted • Answer all information requests from payers • Trace claims to ensure timely payments or denials • Re-submit claims to government agencies and insurance companies • Submit claims appeals with supporting documentation • Resolve aged insurance balances • Act as resource for billing office staff
Requirements
• 2 years of related work experience in a health care environment.
