Description

• Providge is seeking a motivated and experienced Scrum Master to join our team supporting our client’s Integrated Research and Analytics Platform (IRAP) program. • In this full-time role, you will play a key part in ensuring the successful delivery of projects by guiding and supporting development teams through the Scrum framework. • The ideal candidate will exemplify Agile values and principles, possess exceptional communication and facilitation skills, and bring extensive experience in project leadership, including knowledge of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). • Key traits for this role include being passionate about driving collaboration, optimizing workflows, and enabling teams to achieve their best. • Primary Duties and Responsibilities: • Responsible for facilitating scrum events such as PI/sprint planning, daily scrum, PI/sprint review, and sprint retrospective. • Help the IRAP team remove obstacles/blockers that are stopping the development or deployment process by facilitating communication with external teams if needed or reporting any critical issues. • Perform any necessary coaching to the team, and improve communication and collaboration within the team and stakeholders. • Work closely with the product owners to scope and plan current and future work. • Provide the product owner support in managing the backlog and provide clear communications to the product owner on the status of the work items. • Provide the project manager support in providing necessary monthly status updates, which could include creating reports or dashboards. • Responsible for maintaining the Azure DevOps for IRAP. • Design, develop, author, and maintain high-quality operational support documents based upon functional needs associated with cloud infrastructure requirements, eliciting the materials in a collaborative effort with technical analysts, managers, and project team members. • Engaging and coaching product teams to help them recognize the effectiveness of self-organization and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship or Green Card required • Exemplifies and promotes Agile values and principles • Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques with a minimum of 5 years of experience. • Minimum of 7 years of experience in leading projects or key business initiatives • 2 years of IT portfolio and customer relationship management experience. • At least one of the following or its equivalent: PMP Certification, PMI-ACP, or Scaled Agile Framework or CSM (Certified Scrum Master). • Knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and SAFe certification • Knowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e. Scrum, Kanban), or understanding of software development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices. • Able to plan and problem-solve with product management and delivery teams • Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills • Knowledge of approaches discussed in the Agile space: Kanban and SAFe. • Knowledge and/or experience with Agile techniques, including User Stories, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games. • Experience executing as a scrum master in an agile transformation.
