Description

• We believe quantum computing will change everything. • PsiQuantum is on a mission to build the world’s first useful quantum computer. • Our team is building a utility scale quantum computer and the software tools needed to build fault tolerant quantum applications. • We are looking for a digital-hardware system-designer to join our System-Architecture team. • You will work in a multi-technology environment and will contribute to shape and define the digital-logic systems which drive our photonic quantum computer. • Responsibilities include devising algorithms and methods to solve various time-critical tasks and gathering high-level requirements into actionable digital designs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related discipline. • 4+ years of relevant work or academic research preferred. • Strong critical thinking, creative, innovative, analytical, and detail oriented problem-solving skills. • Team player with an ability to work effectively across departments and time-zones. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively to a variety of audiences. • Confirmed python programmer who strives to write clear code in the context of a small team of contributors. • You are pro-active, with the ability to work independently with limited direction, in a fast-moving start-up environment. • Additional Desired Experience/Qualifications: Distributed system experience, worked with Hardware Definition Languages (e.g, VHDL, Verilog), worked with High Level Synthesis tools (e.g Xilinx Vitis), background in photonics.
