• PubNub is looking for a part-time Corporate Counsel focused on technology transactions while working remotely. • Reporting to the General Counsel, this position will focus on commercial contracts and legal matters. • The right candidate will be resourceful, efficient, and able to work independently with high attention to detail. • This is an excellent opportunity for any attorney looking to develop broad, hands-on legal skills in a fast-growing tech company!

Requirements

• Law degree with strong academic credentials; Bar License Membership in an accredited and recognized local bar. • Minimum of 8+ years of legal experience in the technology sector, in-house, or law firm. • Prior experience advising and supporting technology clients, handling technology transactions and licensing; general understanding of software products, software licensing, SaaS services • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously to completion; be able to effectively handle a high-volume of assignments with rapid cycles, concurrent deadlines, and changing priorities with rapid turnaround in a fast paced environment. • High and strong attention to detail, ensuring all transactions are handled with accuracy and diligence while producing high quality work products. • Excellent writing, oral communication, and strong organizational skills; proficiency in drafting and negotiating complex legal documents. • Support sales teams and external procurement teams to facilitate and close technology deals. • Self-motivated, independent worker, highly collaborative and able to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient. • Demonstrated ability to learn new areas of law and adapt to evolving technologies; stays up-to-date on relevant laws and industry standards. • Intellectually curious, eager to learn about emerging technologies. • Proactive, can-do attitude, eager to take on new challenges and opportunities. • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by actively participating in training and knowledge-sharing initiatives. Willing to seek feedback and learn from it to enhance performance. • Outstanding customer service skills, with a positive and approachable demeanor.
