Description

• PurposeMed is looking for an Engineering Team Lead to combine technical expertise with people management skills. • Reporting to the SVP of Product and Engineering, you will play a crucial role in both project execution and team management. • You will guide and mentor team members, ensuring technical efforts align with broader business strategies, and actively support the team in delivering high-quality features and products efficiently.

Requirements

• 3-5 years in software development with a strong background in React, Ruby on Rails. • 1-2 years in engineering leadership or mentorship roles, demonstrating the ability to lead and inspire a team of developers through mentorship and technical coaching • Formal people management experience is preferred but not required • Excellent ability to communicate complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, facilitating effective collaboration and decision-making • Ability to balance hands-on coding with strategic planning to ensure projects align with business objectives and technical standards
