📋 Description

• Quality Auditor at APA – The Engineered Wood Association. • Focus on quality and compliance in the engineered wood industry. • Conduct audits, inspections, and testing to ensure compliance. • Contribute to continuous improvement of production procedures and quality systems.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university or two years of related experience/training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. • Ability to obtain and maintain ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) certification, and possibly ISO Lead Auditor certification. • Training and familiarity with national and international quality standards. • Functional knowledge of engineered wood products and processes, including plywood, OSB, glulam, LVL, and I-joists. • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows OS. • Strong reading, writing, and speaking skills for effective communication with clients and team members. • Mathematical proficiency including working with fractions, decimals, percentages, ratios and statistical concepts. • Physical ability to handle and stack wood panels and lift/move 50 lbs. repetitively.
