• Quality Auditor Southern Oregon • Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for ensuring quality and compliance located in Roseberg, Oregon or Southern Oregon? • Do you have a background in quality assurance and a desire to make a tangible impact in the engineered wood industry? • Join a leading association dedicated to excellence in the engineered wood products industry • Conduct quality assurance audits, including inspections, sampling, and testing of products • Perform quality system audits of mill production procedures, providing verbal and written reports to plant management • Inspect products for compliance with relevant standards and policies • Report quality levels and nonconformances to mill management and Region Manager • Conduct product sampling, retesting, intensive grading and test witnessing as required • Manage and maintain Association equipment and leased vehicles responsibly

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university or two years of related experience/training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Ability to obtain and maintain ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) certification, and possibly ISO Lead Auditor certification • Training and familiarity with national and international quality standards • Functional knowledge of engineered wood products and processes, including plywood, OSB, glulam, LVL, and I-joists • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows OS • Strong reading, writing, and speaking skills for effective communication with clients and team members • Mathematical proficiency including working with fractions, decimals, percentages, ratios and statistical concepts • Physical ability to handle and stack wood panels and lift/move 50 lbs. repetitively
