Description

• Qodea is a Google Cloud-only digital consultancy in Europe. • Seeking a Platform (DevOps) Engineer for customer-facing roles. • Involved in consultative delivery of Platform engineering solutions. • Must possess strong attention to detail and collaborative skills. • Experience with public clouds and tools like Docker or Kubernetes is essential.

Requirements

• Deployment oversight: Oversee various cloud platform implementations and coordinate with other supporting teams • Incident resolution: Investigate and resolve incidents related to cloud platform services, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient problem-solving • Emergency response: As part of the on-call rotation, promptly address critical issues related to cloud services, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on system availability • Root Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough post-incident reviews to identify root causes, document findings, and recommend preventive measures to enhance system reliability • Engineering and DevOps mindset • Collaborative and proactive • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and critical thinking • Articulate, persuasive and commercially aware Platform/Infrastructure and/or DevOps engineering experience for enterprise customers • Public Cloud engineering experience: GCP, AWS or Azure • Previous experience in some of the following: • Containers, Docker and/or Kubernetes • Strong Linux • Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform, Terragrunt, Packer • Estate and Patch management • CI/CD • Coding / Programming experience, ideally with Python • Related industry qualifications - GCP or AWS
