Description

• Quanata is seeking a Platform Engineer to provide solutions for product development. • Design and develop the platform architecture, including infrastructure, networking, and software components. • Seek out and evaluate new technologies for platform features and capabilities. • Collaborate with development teams to optimize applications for IAC environments. • Develop and maintain automation and deployment processes for development efficiency. • Implement monitoring and logging solutions for platform performance. • Encourage developer autonomy and contribute to training and documentation. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the platform, including performance issues. • Implement security and compliance measures for regulatory requirements. • Participate in on-call rotation for internal developer services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience. • Eight or more years of experience in platform engineering or developer experience tooling to include: • Five or more years of experience working with consumer facing websites and technologies. • Three or more years of experience working with distributed systems. • Experience and understanding of CI/CD processes and tooling such as GitLab, Github, or Jenkins. • Experience and understanding of Go, Python, or Bash languages. • Experience and understanding of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi. • Experient in enabling and troubleshooting containerized workloads in ECS, Docker Swarm or Kubernetes. • Experience working in GCP or AWS. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Excellent troubleshooting skills and great attention to detail.
