Description
• Quick Med Claims provides emergency medical transportation billing and reimbursement services. • A/R Management Specialist I will support insurance and patient billing for prompt payment. • Responsibilities include contacting patients and insurance carriers to research claims. • Documenting claims processing system activities and keeping aging accounts to a minimum.
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent • Minimum 1 year of claims, billing, and collection experience • Possess customer service experience • Prior collections or medical billing experience with a basic understanding of ICD10, HCPCS, and medical terminology is preferred • Basic understanding of insurance & claims processing is preferred • Ability to type a minimum of 35 WPM preferred • Possess basic knowledge of the computer and experience using Microsoft Office • Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, and time management skills • Possess problem-solving skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with minimal supervision
